I believe we write our own stories. And each time we think we know the end - we don't. Woooo....school at 3:30AM on a Friday morning in summer is not fun, not at all. Especially when you live there.

Today, I was awoken by a loud screeching coming from my fire alarm. Thinking my building was on fire, I jump out of bed and run outside. Noticing that everyone outside is going about their business as usual, I sit down on a bench outside of my apartment. As soon as I sit down, I see the RAs coming down and they tell me that they are testing the alarm system. Thanks for the warning, really. Twenty minutes of loud screeching later, the test is over. Thank you, goodbye. Sorry we disturbed your peaceful sleep. By the way, this was after the maintenance guy woke me up to change the air filter. Again, thanks.

So...now I'm sitting in my living room drinking Sunkist(AKA SKIST) and chatting online because everyone here is asleep. Boo, you whores.

So, I'm updating my LJ. Not because I like my LJ, but because I'm completely bored out of my fucking mind. I said fucking. Um, yeah.

So, some shit went down last week. Here is a summary:
Last week...sometime - I'm sitting at my computer desk, and I feel something brush my shoulder. Thinking it's my hair, I turn to look. ITS A FUCKING TEXAS TREE ROACH. Do you KNOW what that is? It's like...the monster dad of all tree roaches and holy shit, it's on my shoulder. I scream, jump ten feet, and slap it away. I huddle into my chair, looking at it laying lifelessly on the ground. I look away - FOR A SECOND, I SWEAR - and the fucker is gone. At this point, I'm standing on my chair and it's like, shaking because I'm jumping and my dogs are barking. Yeah, I sleep with TWO dogs in my bed. Fifteen minutes later, I jump from my chair and run downstairs for the third dog. I can't go to sleep until 7AM, only then because I took something and have all three dogs for protection. I actually sleep with my face wrapped in a blanket, for fear the monster would creep back and land in my mouth.

I'm still scanning the room every few minutes, and it's been like a week.

Ohh yes, I'm actually posting in my *own* livejournal for all to see. Well, all who know it exists anyways. Today, or rather yesterday, was my 19th birthday! It was a fabulous, great fun day! I'm realllly excited about moving in with April in September, she's so sweet. Ok, hmm...I should go to bed...yeah, it's 4:30AM.
